Launching especially for London Film Festival, a new immersive film experience is set to entice visitors to The Northbank area. This free pop-up installation on Villiers Street, just moments away from the Embankment Garden Cinema, will be open throughout the festival showing BFI archive film of The Northbank area, including the riverside, Trafalgar Square and Victoria Embankment Gardens. The pop-up also features the fabulous performer Jonny Woo and a stunning audio of his poem, ‘I Know Your Name’.
Brought to you by The Northbank BID, in collaboration with the BFI, the pop-up is open from 2-13 October, between 11am-8pm, and is set to be a must-see addition to Film Festival for 2019. Find the pop-up at: 35-37 Villiers Street.

On-street security briefings take place on the third Thursday of the month at 11am in The Northbank. These briefings are for those with an interest in the safety and security of the area, particularly those working in security. Last month’s briefing focused on the new pedestrianised space, Strand Aldwych, and addressed security concerns such as phone snatching and theft.
