One of the richest treasure troves in London is hidden in an elegant corner of Somerset House. From the Renaissance through dazzling Impressionist and Post-Impressionist works to the 20th century, The Courtauld Gallery houses an outstanding art collection. Away from crowds queuing for blockbuster events, you can reflect on world famous paintings, a wealth of drawings and prints by major artists and often have the place almost to yourself. There are late night openings and lunchtime talks too.
