Royal Society of Arts (RSA)

Public Lectures & Events

Be inspired at the RSA, intellectual home to some of the world’s greatest minds for 250 years. Providing a platform for the world’s leading thinkers, encouraging intelligent public discussion, the RSA hosts over 150 lectures, screenings and debates a year — all of them free. Expert speakers address education, science, the arts, politics, the economy and more. You can be part of translating new ideas into practical change and realising people’s hopes for a better world.

Eating & Drinking

Situated above the RSA’s Vaults, Rawthmells offers all day dining (8:30am – 8:30pm), and seating across a variety of spaces. The space will also give access to superb thought provoking content delivered by the RSA events team. Designed to get the conversation started, Rawthmells makes a fantastic new option for socialising pre-or-post event, as well as being an inspiring co-working space.

Creating the enlightenment coffeehouse has involved a significant amount of work including the transformation of two entire floors of the House over a 9 month period, and opening up hidden parts of the building for the very first time. Rawthmells is a natural home for anyone who wants to change the world, enabling people to connect, share knowledge, collaborate, and drink good coffee.

Venue Hire

The RSA House offers a well-equipped events venue in central London for hire, including for conference, weddings, Christmas and private celebrations. The House combines Georgian splendour with high quality contemporary design and is a versatile space suitable for a variety of events. Over 260 years this historic building has been home to some of the most creative thinkers who have been dedicated to shaping the future through ideas and action.
