Standing prominently on the Strand, The Vaudeville has been home to major stars from Henry Irving in the 1800s to Dame Maggie Smith, Sir John Mills, Christian Slater and Anna Maxwell Martin more recently. The theatre’s programme is set to continue with a variety of new plays, revivals, comedy and musicals entertaining theatregoers as it’s done for nearly 140 years. Fresh for 2014 comes Handbagged, a ‘wickedly funny’ Edinburgh Festival hit, sure to be another Vaudeville hot ticket.
