Community Safety: Women’s Night Safety Panel

As part of the Mayor’s commitment to the UN Safe Cities Initiative the Northbank has pledged to help tackle violence against women and girls in the night economy.

Our Night Safety Event will look at different topics relating to night safety and will discuss how business communities can work with local authorities to make our streets safer.

Guest speakers will include Amy Lamé, the Night Csar and WCC’s Head of Licensing, Place & Investment Policy on the Night Safe Hub Initiative. The police will also be providing presentations on sexual offence investigations and crime scene preservation. Other speakers on the panel will discuss new technology providing crowd-sourced information, student safety and services finding pathways to help female rough sleepers.
