ZELA is the acclaimed restaurant, founder of the MEPPON cuisine, a fusion of Mediterranean products and traditional Japanese cuisine techniques.
It is a multifunctional restaurant with global expansion ambitions. The cuisine respects the traditional Japanese techniques while combining them with the best products that the Mediterranean has to offer. This multifaceted cuisine combined with a bespoken cocktail bar and live performances creates a unique gastronomic experience.
Japanese specialties are intertwined with the flavours and unique products of the Mediterranean to create our own style of Sushi, Temakis, Dim Sum, Ceviche, among others.
On the menu, the nigiris of butter fish with white truffle, the starry tuna tartar or the Usuzukuri of Toro pa amb Tomàquet harmoniously coincide with Tatakis and oxtail Gyozas. The menu seamlessly blends the Mediterranean with Japan by showcasing creations including scallops with Ibicencan Sobrasada and rice chips with cured wagyu, burrata and nori.
Their cocktail bar will be serving over 20 classic and vanguard cocktails. From our famed cocktail Coco Channel to a modern version with Japanese roots, we strive to infuse Mediterranean and Japanese flavours in perfect balance.
