The Northbank Summer Festival is a chance to activate the award-winning Victoria Embankment Gardens and gives 'locals' to the Northbank a chance to take advantage of their lunch breaks and soak up the atmosphere after work.
The main focus of the Festival is the live screening of the Wimbledon Championships, and in 2016 there was also live music, food markets, Embankment Summer Market and a Tea Dance.
Other community-focused highlights included a performance by the brilliant Shell company choir and the first ever performance by the Northbank Choir. Best’s Bootcamp also gave a handful of locals a run around at lunchtime, while the Police and Cycle Confident checked over bikes for free.
