On Thursday 19th June, the Northbank BID in partnership with Victoria BID organised a crisis management table top exercise at the St Ermins Hotel. The invited audience of 70 which consisted of businesses, government departments as well as security teams and charity organisations were given an exercise to work through based on an unfolding disaster. On hand was a panel of experts from the police, fire brigade and ambulance along with the Contingency Planning Manager from Westminster City Council. The panel guided the audience through the exercise and were also on hand to answer their questions.
Those that attended were invited to provide feedback:
“ I would like to thank everyone involved for a well-planned, well organised, well catered event. The hotel facilities were first rate. I am sure everyone who attended must have benefited from it.”
“ The information received will to be very helpful. Having the panel team with their wealth of knowledge & experience available was invaluable and will look forward to being involved in future activities.”
The Northbank will continue to host similar events focusing on business continuity and fraud awareness. We are interested in hearing from you if there is a particular topic you feel would be of benefit. Contact Andy Wood, Business Policing Manager on firstname.lastname@example.org
