London’s leading river bus service, MBNA Thames Clippers will be trialling a new commuter service from Gravesend Town Pier to Central London between 11 and 14 September 2017, to assess the level of demand in the area.

In the evenings the boat will leave Embankment Pier at 17.40 and call at Blackfriars Pier at 17.46, Tower Pier at 17.52, Canary Wharf Pier at 18.02 and will arrive at Gravesend Town Pier at 18.50.

The new trial follows the recent launch of Mercury Clipper one of the two new passenger boats joining MBNA Thames Clippers’ growing river transport network operating across London, with the second boat Jupiter Clipper to follow shortly. When the two new boats enter service MBNA Thames Clippers will be the biggest commercial passenger fleet operating solely in English waters.
MBNA Thames Clippers is London’s leading river boat service, connecting many of the capital’s top attractions and providing commuters with the opportunity to take in the iconic London skyline from the river along the way to work such as London Eye, Shakespeare’s Globe, and Tower Bridge.
