The Northbank is soon launching it’s Corporate Social Responsibility events programme to encourage and enable businesses based within the BID footprint to develop exceptional CSR practise.
The programme will include a range of seminars and events hosted by Two Temple Place and the Bull Dog Trust to provide a number of opportunities for CSR managers and leaders to meet one another, raise the profile of CSR on The Northbank and explore various models and programmes that are available for collaborations for a long term CSR strategy that will benefit the local community and beyond.
In the long term, we aim for Northbank businesses to be at the forefront of innovative CSR as a beacon for best practice in Corporate Social Responsibility. To mark the launch, we are gathering CSR professionals and senior executives for a specially designed communications training ‘Sharing the Message’ workshop on 19th November to share experiences and knowledge of how best to communicate and engage with CSR priorities. The tailored workshop is designed to enable leaders and senior managers to deliver clear and compelling presentations and will not only be a chance for networking but also to learn new tools for effective communication and an opportunity to get involved in upcoming Northbank lead CSR projects. It is the intention that those who attend will become ambassadors of best CSR practice within the Northbank.
This will be part of a wider CSR programme to be launched in 2015 which draws up on the excellent submissions from the RSA Northbank Good Business Challenge and the BID’s CSR strategic aims and business plan. We look forward to keep in touch about plans.
