This report gives an overview and analysis of the Northbank Business Improvement District Consultation undertaken by the Northbank Partnership between March 2012 and May 2012.
The partnership is a consortium of stakeholders which aims to improve the area of Northbank and make it a greater place to live, work and visit.
The consultation is an important step in the process of moving forward the Northbank Partnership towards potentially becoming a Business Improvement District (BID) and was commissioned to gauge the views and highlight the key issues for businesses and occupiers in the area.
The consultation was a questionnaire based survey and gathered responses to five key areas:
The survey was also underpinned by a cross cutting theme on perceptions of Northbank and where and how improvements could be made.
The partnership is keen to raise awareness of its work among key occupiers in the Northbank area and help to shape and influence its business plan for the next phase – the Northbank Manifesto on which business will vote.
