The Northbank Environment Ambassador monitors the streetscape and is able to report issues ranging from damaged paving and flooding to spillages, graffiti and flyposting using PDA technology. The results are reported to Westminster City Council and progress is monitored in line with the baseline agreement. They have been targeting the smaller alleyways and forgotten corners to ensure they are regularly cleaned and are pleasant to walk along.

Graffiti, flyposting and stickering are illegal, anti-social activities that create a negative impression of an area. An environmental survey has been undertaken for the BID area and the cleansing team has started removal, and again progress will be checked.

To report an issue or request a visit by one of the team contact Alison Gregory at alison@thenorthbank.london or call on 020 3697 9271.
