Twining and Co is passionate about the drink that keeps Britain going. Opened in 1706, during the golden age of the coffee house, selling tea began as a PR stunt. 300 years later it’s still going strong. It is the oldest shop in the City of Westminster, trading on the same site with the same family, and the same product, tea and coffee. With a fascinating small museum too, this lovely heritage shop celebrates a huge variety of delicious teas. And although dry tea is great, wet tea is better – who knew?! The new Loose Tea bar even lets you sniff your tea before you buy.
BOOK A MUSEUM VISIT OR A TEA TASTING. The museum is open to the public and tea tastings are available by appointment, subject to the size of your group, there may be a small charge please make contact on 0207 353 3511 for more information.
