Launched on September 17 2012, the Coutts Skyline Garden is a living breathing greenscape located on the roof of the 440 Strand building.
The sustainable, organic planting scheme changes month by month with a combination of fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers, attracting all forms of wildlife. Coutts’ Executive Chef Peter Fiori wanted to create a garden and use the organic produce for client entertainment. The Coutts Skyline Garden has transformed an otherwise unused urban space into more than 300 raised beds, thanks to design direction from Horticultural Consultant Richard Vine and help from The Clink Charity based at HMP High Down.
Lawyers and other staff enjoy the complete change of scenery and a breath of fresh air during lunch breaks, as well as the chance to meet people from different parts of the business.
